Breathless

Posted by theinconvenienttruth at 11:43 PM on November 8, 2009.

Heart beat slowing...

Don't even have enough breath to let out a sigh...

I die a little each time we say goodnight like this

With our backs half turned and our tears half stifled

Falling asleep to the sound of deafening silence...

Please don't let forever be this way...

The Inevitability We Call Fate

Posted by theinconvenienttruth at 08:28 PM on November 4, 2009.

Oftentimes, all one really needs is a desperate grasp on identity.

Who am I? Why am I here? What am I living for?

Deep down all we really cared about is to matter. To find meaning.

It's in our nature as human beings to find a reason for everything.

All the more it matters when it's the reason for our own existence.

It is for this reason that we aim to please.

Whether it is to please ourselves or the people we care about,

The meaning of our existence is reflected, defined by the outcome and results of our actions and decisions.

It is our innate desire to be given value.

It is our need to feel needed.

Because nobody wants to die in a poor man's grave.

New Day, New Life?

Posted by theinconvenienttruth at 08:08 AM on October 27, 2009.

It's morning.

The air is cool. Birds are chirping outside. I've got at least 12 long hours free ahead of me today.

For what?

... Why am I still alive?

On Making Miracles

Posted by theinconvenienttruth at 03:06 AM on October 26, 2009.

My only regret in this life is that I cannot do better for my Lord.

No matter what my best is, He knows me through and through, and quantifying anything as its best only means there is always something better out there, unfound, undone.

Miracles are when you discover you actually could do things you never thought you could before. That would be the only case where doing better can possibly occur.

But doing better never stops after just one miracle.

We gotta be the miracle.
